During the past several weeks, the CYBERLEGs team has been hard at work integrating the new sensory system!
All the CYBERLEGS sensors are wireless and they are being received by a completely new custom-designed wearable board! All the communication is running at 100 Hz through ZigBee (IEEE 802.15.4).
The insoles were redesigned to provide better wearability and they no longer use bluetooth for wireless transmission of data. The entire sensory system data is read into the CYBERLEGs low-level control system through FPGA.
When I get a chance, I will post some nice images and presentations of the wireless wearable sensory system, but until then, you can feast your eyes on this video:
